Puka Beach

Posted in Places by Sandwich on July 19, 2009

Puka Beach is one of the sweetest escapes at the northern tip of Boracay Island.  It takes less than 30 minutes to get here from the famous White beach, and one can take a tricycle, an ATV or a boat.

There are lots of shells and corrals, making its sand coarser compared to the fine sands of White Beach.  The famed puka shells are shells with holes on them, and are used for making bracelets, anklets and necklaces.

Puka Beach has gentle waves, and is ideal for people looking for peace, quiet and relaxation.
